- Filter plates provide protection against excessive glare and harmful UV and IR light
- Hardened glass is heat-treated for strength
- Precision ground and pencil edged to eliminate stress flaws
- Meet or exceed ANSI Z87.1-2003 and CSA Z94.3-02 standards
- Caution: Shades 3-6 should never be used for electric arc welding
