Hydrogen

Making up 0.14% of the Earth’s crust by weight, Hydrogen is known to be the most abundant element in the universe. Hydrogen is found in all animal and vegetable tissue as well as in petroleum. Hydrogen is the lightest and most common element found on earth. This element is highly flammable, but not poisonous. If Hydrogen is in pure form, it can be used in several different ways. Hydrogen can be used in fuel cells to generate electricity, however we commonly see Hydrogen being used for petroleum refining and fertilizer production. For many, Hydrogen is seen as the next-generation fuel for the future.
