As a rule, AIR LIQUIDE CANADA INC. hereafter referred to as "AL", "AIR LIQUIDE" OR "we" respects and protects the privacy of users of our websites and mobile applications (“Website(s)”). We undertake not to voluntarily disclose to third parties information about our customers or other users of the Website that is individually identifiable without the prior consent of the user concerned for this purpose.When you use our Websites, the controller of your data is AIR LIQUIDE CANADA INC. with its registered office at 1250, boul. René-Lévesque West, Suite 1700, Montreal, QC H3B 5E6.User Data may be collected, processed, stored and used by AL and may be transmitted to third parties who are service providers.Some Data (i.e., surname, first name, email address, telephone, etc.) must be communicated by Users to AL to allow the creation of an Account, or at other times during the automatic collection of other data. The optional or mandatory nature of the data requested will be indicated at the time of data collection.Users agree that AL may use their Data for the following purposes:

  • any operation relating to the management of Users concerning orders, replenishment requests, self-audits,deliveries, invoices, complaints and in particular the management of customer accounts, and the follow-up of customer relations such as marketing activities, the conduct of satisfaction surveys

  • for services or support requested by the User

  • to contact the User from time to time if the User encounters any difficulty in navigating the Websites or updating services

  • to contact the User regarding replenishments requests and self-audits

  • to personalize, measure and improve the services and content accessible from the Websites

  • to verify the accuracy of the information and to verify it with third parties

  • to prevent activities that AL believes are potentially illegal

  • for the implementation of the T&C (General Terms and Conditions of Use).

AL may disclose this Data in order to comply with legal requirements, implement the T&Cs and respond to any claims from third parties. In all cases, this information will be disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.Within the strict limits of the data processing carried out for the purposes described above, we are required to communicate some of your data:

  • To the authorized personnel of Air Liquide companies in the performance of their regular duties

  • To the ultimate AL customer, where applicable

AL may request information from Users in order to evaluate potential functionalities and services. The decision to complete a survey is entirely up to each User. Through these surveys AL uses the information collected to improve its services.AL uses the Data exclusively for the specific purposes described above. This information will not be sold to any third party for commercial or marketing purposes.AL takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the unauthorised or unlawful processing of User Data and the accidental loss, destruction or damage of such Data.AL undertakes to retain Personal Data for an appropriate and defined period of time in order to meet its legal obligations.In accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (S.C. 2000, c. When AL transfers User data to the United States, we process personal data in accordance with the terms of the Standard Contractual Clauses signed with our service providers, as established by the European Commission (Decision 2010/87/EU) and Canadian law. In addition, due to the international dimension of the group and its organization, AIR LIQUIDE transfers Users' personal data within its entities located in countries outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are covered by Binding Corporate Rules approved by the competent personal data protection authorities. In order to improve Users' browsing experience on the Websites and for statistical analysis purposes, AL automatically collects certain data when the User visits the Websites:

  • The IP address: an IP address is assigned to your Terminal by your Internet service provider so that you can access the Internet

  • the date and time of the visit to the Websites and the pages visited

  • The operating system and navigation software

  • The path through Air Liquide sites and the duration of the connection.
